Alleghany Co. Supervisors: Respect For Dodd, Stormwater Code Updates, Radio System Upgrade & More Low Moor, VA (Sept. 1, 2026) - The Alleghany County Board of Supervisors held a busy, production session on Tuesday evening. The public got to hear lots of information about the activities of the Alleghany Highlands Community Services Board, the Greater Roanoke Workforce Development Board and much more. Here is a quick summary of the meeting: • the board heard Zoning Administrator Beth Stull ask for and receive approval for Cahpter 52 Stormwater Management amendments (state requirements) • got a thorough update on regional road and maintenance activity from VDOT Resident Engineer, Susan Hammond.
