Fridays In The Forge Event Draws Big Crowd; Bart Chucker Band Warmly Received

| Clifton Forge, VA (July 31, 2026) - The main attraction at tonight's Fridays in the Forge event was the Bart Chucker Band from Richmond. A hometown, Clifton Forge boy, Chucker, now a general district court judge, leads a high-talented group that plays rock, country and more - dozens of favorites that most crowds love to hear. But more importantly, the local touch, the experience and song selection this evening drew substantial applause throughout the evening.
The event drew the largest crowd of the year downtown. One local lady remarked, "There were so many people here, I thought a wrastling match was going on!" And another remarked that the band was so good that "They need to ask them to perform here at least once a month!"
