Catapult To Perform At Historic Masonic Theatre Covington, VA (March 24, 2025) - The Alleghany Highlands Arts Council will provide our community with the ultimate April Fool’s Day sensation by presenting the shadow dance company Catapult on stage at the Historic Masonic Theatre on Tuesday, April 1, at 7:00 p.m. In this show, the use of light and the human body may cause your eyes to fool you because what you see may not be as it appears. Catapult is a Shadow Illusion performance company that launched into the limelight and the homes of millions worldwide as finalists on America's Got Talent. Since then, they have been touring the globe with their show "Magic Shadows." They have created music videos for rappers, performed for royal families, supported non-profits like Girl Scouts and United Way, filmed for HBO, and currently tour throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Catapult's shows amalgamate dance, theater, acrobatics, illusion, and storytelling. Their stunning visuals, whimsy, heart, and athleticism create a spellbinding performance suitable for all ages. Funding from The Alleghany Foundation will allow the company to offer a workshop for local dancers during their visit to the Alleghany Highlands. Tickets are $25.
