Alleghany Highlands Triathlon Set May 17, 2025 Clifton Forge, VA (Feb. 20, 2025) - The annual Alleghany Highlands Triathlon, sponsored by Clifton Forge Main Street, will be held May 17, 2025. "I know everyone is ready for Spring after the Winter of 2025. What better way to begin your Spring activities than to participate in this great and fun event," said organizer Susan Hutchison. The Triathlon is a 5K run, 5-mile kayak, and 10-mile bike beginning on Nicelytown Road at the Sharon Community Center; down the scenic Cowpasture River to the steel bridge followed by bike leg from McKinney Hollow Road to the finish line at the Masonic Amphitheater in Clifton Forge.
