Enrollment Underway for MGCC Nursing Programs Clifton Forge, VA (Feb. 20, 2025) - Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is now accepting applications for its Practical Nursing and Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) programs, providing an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to advance their nursing careers. Whether you're starting out or aiming to move up in the healthcare field, these programs offer a pathway to gain the skills and credentials needed to thrive in nursing. The Practical Nursing program is ideal for those looking to become Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). By completing this program, students will be prepared to sit for the NCLEX-PN, the national exam for LPN licensure. LPNs provide essential care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and supporting patients through treatments. The program is designed to help students get into the workforce quickly, with the next cohort starting in Summer 2025. For those already in the field or those looking for a higher-level position, the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program provides the education and training needed to become a Registered Nurse (RN).
