Mountain View Elementary School students were thrilled by a recent visit from Josh Mueller from Coastal Wilds, a Delaware-based organization dedicated to inspiring conservation through free school education programs. The popular animal ambassadors included a red-footed tortoise from South America and a spectacled owl from Central America. Students also met a corn snake from Virginia, a hedgehog tenrec from Madagascar, and a blue-tongue skink from Australia. The students were excited to meet each animal and expressed curiosity by asking questions. The students learned about the importance of protecting wildlife and our environment. (AHPS Photos)
