Fridley, Taylor Charged In Noah Trout Abduction Case
Two year-Old Noah Trout Recovered Unharmed At CF Trailer Court

Clifton Forge, VA (May 3, 2021) - The Virginia State Police along with members of the FBI surveilled then took action at a Clifton Forge trailer court (Chestnut Village, the former Nicholas Trailer Court) earlier today to find two-year-old Noah Trout and arrest his abductors.

Trout was taken by Nancy R. Fridley from a church nursery yesterday in Giles County. An amber alert went out shortly thereafter and the search has included dozens of law enforcement officers.

At a brief press conference just after 5 p.m., Giles County Sheriff Morgan Millirons said law enforcement agencies had been "working nonstop" to bring the case to a successful conclusion.

"Even though Noah has been safely recovered the investigation is still ongoing," Millirons noted.

Stanley Meador, Special Agent in charge of the Richmond FBI office, complimented Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team (and other law enforcement sources and those with tips) in helping bring the case to a close.

The only information that can be confirmed as a result of the press conference is this:

Nancy Renee Fridley, 44, of Clifton Forge has been charged with one count of abduction and one count of felony child endangerment.

According to the FBI, "We have been unable to determine a motive for Noah's abduction."

But later Monday, Bobby Lee Taylor, the apparent boyfriend of Fridley, also was charged with abduction. He now finds himself in the Alleghany Regional Jail.

The Journal isn't aware where Fridley has been taken after she was charged.
