HCA Virginia Hospitals Earn Prestigious Healthgrades 2027 Specialty Excellence Awards Hospitals earn top rankings in Virginia for orthopedic surgery and surgi   Richmond, VA (Oct. 27, 2026) - Several HCA Virginia hospitals have earned multiple 2027 Specialty Excellence Awards from Healthgrades, a leading resource consumers use to find a hospital or doctor. The awards recognize hospitals demonstrating superior clinical performance across specialties including orthopedic surgery, joint replacement, cardiac. care, surgical care and gastrointestinal care, among others. The recognitions distinguish Chippenham Hospital, Johnston-Willis Hospital, Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, Parham Doctors’ Hospital, Retreat Doctors’ Hospital, LewisGale Medical Center, LewisGale Hospital Alleghany, LewisGale Hospital Montgomery and Reston Hospital Center as leading hospitals for specialty care, with multiple facilities ranking among the top 10 or 15 percent of hospitals nationwide in specific specialties.
