Community Walk Held in Clifton Forge from Mountain View Apartments to Kroger By Jennifer Bailey Staff Writer   Clifton Forge, VA (Sept. 11, 2026)— A Community Walk was held today in Clifton Forge commemorating the concluded pathway between Mountain View Apartments and Kroger. Many readers may have noticed the white dividers that have gone up recently to create a safer walkway for Mountain View residents, some of whom often walk along the road to get to Kroger. Many locals and government officials met up at Mountain View apartments at 3:30 p.m. today and walked the new path to Kroger, many with smiles on their faces. The purpose was to experience the walk first-hand, enjoy some refreshments, meet the project team, share feedback, and ask any lingering questions locals may have had about the project.
