'Dolce Designs by Amanda' Announces Official September 15 Opening Date

Covington, VA (Aug. 31, 2026)— A few weeks ago, the Journal sat down with Amanda Sprouse, owner and operator of a new bakery coming to Covington called Dolce Designs by Amanda. During the time of our interview, it was uncertain when the restaurant would launch. However, we have since learned that the official opening date has been set for Tuesday, September 15th.
Dolce Designs by Amanda is located at 105 W. Edgemont Drive in Covington and will be open Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m., by appointment only on Saturdays, and closed Mondays and Tuesdays. | | | | | |
