Lone Star Advent Christian Church Hosts 20th Annual Nicelytown Picnic & Gospel Sing

Clifton Forge, VA (Aug. 29, 2026)— On the evening of Saturday, August 29, Lone Star Advent Christian (AC) Church held the 20th Annual Nicelytown Picnic & Gospel Sing in their Family Life Center.
The indoor picnic began at 5:00 p.m. with meat, drinks, and bread provided by the church. Many guests, as in years past, brought covered dishes and desserts to add to the remarkable display. Donations were received for ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice and the event was open free to the public.
Musical guests included The Announcers, The Grizzly Disciples, and many other family and friends. It was hosted by the William Nicely family in memory of Nancy Nicely. | | | | | |
