Many Fine Performances At AH Gospel Music Jubilee

Covington, VA (Aug. 15, 2026) - Four gospel music groups took the stage at the 2nd Annual Alleghany Highlands Gospel Music Jubilee, held Sat., August 15th at the Jackson River Sports Complex.
The singing lasted for about two hours with a good crowd in attendance.

Narrow Road's John Ryan, who originally conceived of the gospel music concert concept, also played a delightful guitar solo for the crowd.
William Nicely, longtime Announcers member, reminded the audience of the upcoming Nicelytown Community Picnic, a free event, slated for the Lone Star Advent Christian Church on August 29th (beginning at 5 p.m.) proceeds and donations from which will benefit ConnectionPlus Healthcare & Hospice to assist in the services they provide the region.
