Covington's National Night Out Event Included Dunking Of Sheriff Moore

Covington, VA (Aug. 4, 2026) - Lots of kids AND ADULTS turned out for tonight's National Night Out event at Main St. Park in Covington.
Sheriff Kyle Matt Moore got dunked early on as kids, parents and local revelers looked on.
Several area vendors also turned out and there were hot dogs, lots of information, first responders, members of law enforcement and more to talk about their various services.
