| YMCA First Stop on CFRBA's '$25,000 in 25 Days' Journey
| By Jennifer Bailey Staff Writer | Covington, VA (Aug. 1, 2026)— For the Community Foundation for Rockbridge, Bath, and Alleghany Counties (CFRBA), they are celebrating their 25-year anniversary in a very generous way: by giving away $25,000 in 25 days to several organizations fixed in the counties of Rockbridge, Bath, and Alleghany.
The first leg of their journey began at the Alleghany Highlands YMCA this morning to present a $1,000 check to Bobbie Wagner, CEO of the YMCA. The small group was made of Wagner; Greg Madsen, Chairman of the Board of CFRBA; and Lori Turner, Executive Director of CFRBA.
