3rd Annual Chessie Car Show Draws Out Many Local Car Enthusiasts By Jennifer Bailey Staff Writer   Clifton Forge, VA (July 11, 2026)— From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, the Alleghany Cruisers hosted their third annual Chessie Car Show at the C&O Railway Heritage Center, located at 705 Main Street in Clifton Forge. The event featured dozens of cars, a dunk tank, rides on the Little C&O, food from the Clifton Forge Little League, live DJ, door prizes, goodie bags, trophies, 50/50, and much more. The five-hour-long event drew out many local car enthusiasts who enjoyed a mass display of unique vehicles from around the county. As it's been in years past, the Chessie Car Show is a fundraiser which benefits the C&O Historical Society.
