Cov. Juneteenth Celebration: Huge Success

Covington, VA (June 19, 2026) - Lots of fun, great food, many neat conversations and cool entertainment today at the Covington Juneteenth celebration was held at Jeter Watson Park.
Among other nice presentations and aspects of the day was the brief speech from 2026 AHS graduate Desmond Jordan, who received a $500 Juneteenth Legacy United Scholarship. He will be attending Georgetown University soon.
