Bright Star Theatre Brings Dinosaurs to Life During Presentation at Granbury Memorial United Methodist Church By Jennifer Bailey Staff Writer   Covington, VA (June 11, 2026)— The Bright Star Touring Theatre Company made a pit stop at Granbury Memorial United Methodist Church, located at 425 West Main Street in Covington, to present "Unearth a Story: Dinosaurs!" The event ran from 11:00 a.m.—noon and was sponsored by the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library. Visitors packed into the room for the hour-long event which featured a scripted performance by two of the Bright Star's performers who enthusiastically taught the crowd about dinosaurs. From their humble beginnings of mere embryos to full-grown pterosaurs, the Bright Star's comedic performance gave children an interactive, educational, and fun way to learn about dinosaurs.
