Shenandoah Ballet Makes Waves with 'The Little Mermaid' By Jennifer Bailey Staff Writer   Clifton Forge, VA (May 23, 2026)— The Shenandoah Ballet is making waves at the Historic Masonic Theatre, located at 510 Main Street in Clifton Forge, for two dynamic, majestic performances. The first was held this evening, Saturday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m., and the second will be held tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at the front door. The Journal decided to make a splash of our own and crash the first performance. In our humble opinion, it is a pleasant must-see. With delicate, beautiful costumes, a neat storyline based on the original book by Hans Christian Anderson, soothing music, and dancers of all ages, it was a charming adaptation of a timeless classic.
