Covington, VA (May 5, 2026)— The organizers of Teen Tuesday held a "Praise Party" on the evening of May 5 at the Jackson River Sports Complex (JRSC) ampitheatre, located at 870 W. Edgemont Drive. The event ran from 6:30 p.m.—8:00 p.m. and featured the Teen Tuesday worship band who played several popular praise songs, including Brandon Lake's "Hard Fought Hallelujah" and "Gratitude."

The organizer of the event was DeAnn Stull, who also leads the Teen Tuesday events typically held at Mountain Rush in Covington. Stull reached out to Brandon Clemons, the new camp director and program coordinator of Camp Accovac, to ask if the camp could assist with catering the event. Clemons and his wife, Cassie, were happy to oblige.

The "Praise Party" drew a relatively large crowd of locals, including teens and parents alike. The Journal was on-hand to capture a few smiles during the hour-and-a-half-long event and will make those photos available soon.
