Maggie Mace, Shawn Petty Become Second Graduating Class at Covenant Christian Academy

Clifton Forge, VA (Apr. 28, 2026)— Maggie Mace and Shawn Petty, both seniors at Covenant Christian Academy (CCA), will soon become the second official graduating class since the school was founded in 2018.
Covenant Christian Academy, located at 1601 Chestnut Street in Clifton Forge, is a private, faith-based school that currently services just 22 students. The school is a non-profit that accepts a small tuition to pay their bills, but never turns students away for inability to pay. They provide the Virginia standard education, as well as Christian studies, and extracurricular classes such as French and auto mechanics. The entire staff, the Journal has learned, teaches on a volunteer basis.
Maggie Mace, this year's valedictorian, will become the second graduate of the school, and Shawn Petty will be the third. Graduation is scheduled for May 16th at 1:00 p.m. at Covenant Christian Academy. The Journal paid a quick visit to the small, but "Fiercely Faithful" school this afternoon to capture a few photos of the graduating class of two.
