'Music On The Corner': Three Concerts Scheduled At First Presbyterian Church In Covington   Covington, VA (April 9, 2026) - Music on the Corner at First Presbyterian Church was started more than twenty years ago. It's purpose was to present talent and beautiful music to the community - music and talent that they would not have a chance to hear otherwise. There was never a set schedule for the concerts because performances depended entirely on the availability of talented individuals and groups. This April, May, and June we are pleased to present three very special concerts. Ronnie Linkenhoker, baritone, will be the featured artist on Sunday, April 26, at 3:00 p.m. Then on Saturday, May 23, at 3:00 p.m., Jonathan Elmore, tenor, and Jacob Giancaterino, pianist, will present music from Jonathan's recitals at Indiana University. Pantasia, a flute ensemble from Roanoke, VA, will perform for us on June 7 or June 14. (The actual date will be announced very soon.) The director of Pantasia is Gretchen Jensen, who was once a member of our community and graduated from Covington High School. As always, First Presbyterian Church is very grateful to our performers and we feel very blessed to continue to present beautiful music and very talented individuals for.the enjoyment of our entire community.
