C&O Historical Society Hosts George Washington Train Show At Railway Heritage Center, Armory By Ashley Prior Staff Writer   Clifton Forge, Va (March. 21, 2026) – The Journal attended the 2026 George Washington Train Show, hosted by C&O Historical Society, at Railway Heritage Center on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with additional events taking place at the Clifton Forge Armory. The event featured a wide variety of vendors, exhibits, and activities, including a food truck by Clifton Forge Little League. Visitors enjoyed exploring model train displays, historical exhibits, and the Heritage Center’s Museum offerings, as well as Sweetz popcorn and the on- site gift shop. The train show will continue Sunday March 22, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., offering another opportunity for community members and visitors to experience the exhibits and activities.
