'Phantom of the Opera' Performed At FCC Family Life Center By Ashley Prior Staff Writer   Covington, Va (March. 14, 2026) – The Journal joined a special dinner theatre performance Saturday afternoon as the Alleghany High School Choir presented Phantom of the Opera at the Family Life Center in Covington at 1 p.m. Guests enjoyed a three-course meal while watching the students perform selections from the well-known musical. The event combined dinner and live theatre, creating an enjoyable afternoon of music and entertainment. The performance featured a talented cast of student performers portraying the iconic characters from the classic production.
