| Stinnett, Brizzi Arrrested In Botetourt Co. On Drug Charges

Daleville, VA (Feb. 28, 2026) - On February 28, 2026, Deputies from the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Roanoke Road in Daleville that led to the seizure of a large quantity of illegal narcotics.
During the stop, K9 Nuka alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Deputies conducted a search and located significant amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and MDMA, along with packaging materials consistent with distribution.
Both occupants of the vehicle, Joseph Stinnett, 57, of Covington, Virginia and Zane Brizzi, 25, of Covington, Virginia were taken into custody and charged with:
• Possession with Intent to Distribute over (223.5 grams (8 ounces) of Methamphetamine
• Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl (30 grams)
• Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine (42 grams)
• Possession with Intent to Distribute MDMA (33 grams)
