ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice Strengthens Regional Leadership with Two Key Appointments in the Alleghany Highlands

 
Clifton Forge, VA (Feb. 17, 2026) — In a continued commitment to serving the Alleghany Highlands with excellence, compassion, and local leadership, ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice has appointed two respected, deeply rooted community professionals to prominent roles in its Clifton Forge office. Autumn Anderson, BSN, RN, has been named Regional Director of Nursing, and Amber King has been appointed Associate Director of Supportive Services. Their combined clinical expertise, community insight, and passion for person-centered care mark an important step in expanding the organization’s impact across the region.

About Autumn Anderson, BSN, RN

A native of the Alleghany Highlands, Autumn Anderson brings an extensive and diverse background to her new role. Anderson earned her associates of applied sciences degree from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, followed by her BSN from Liberty University. In addition, Anderson is also a Veteran of the armed forces, having served 6 years in the Army National Guard post HS graduation.

Her professional experience spans long-term care, emergency services, and pediatrics. Anderson transitioned to hospice care in 2019 with Mountain Regional Hospice, where she discovered her calling in end-of-life care. As Regional Director of Nursing, she now oversees nursing operations, quality initiatives, and community outreach throughout the region.

About Amber King

Also born and raised in the Alleghany Highlands, Amber King brings a strong foundation in social work, family services, and compassionate end-of-life support. She graduated from Alleghany High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Concord University, along with an End-of-Life Doula certification from the University of Vermont.

King has served the region in numerous social service roles and cultivated strong professional partnerships within the community. In her role as Associate Director of Supportive Services, she will support program development, family support initiatives, and community engagement efforts.
