Clifton Forge, VA (Feb. 11, 2026)— This evening, from 5:00 p.m.—6:00 p.m. at the Historic Masonic Theatre in downtown Clifton Forge, the long-awaited brand for the town was finally unveiled.
As readers may recall, the Alleghany Journal has been following this story for about a year or more since the idea was first pitched at a Community Gathering meeting. After the initial pitch, the town of Clifton Forge went straight to work. Soon, Arnett Muldrow—a company out of Greenville, South Carolina who specializes in community branding — was hired. After many visits and meetings here talking with locals, council members, Town Manager Chuck Unroe, and the Clifton Forge Director of Planning & Community Development, Dr. Maria Saxton, and Arnett Muldrow got to work.
Tonight, it was revealed that the rich history of Clifton Forge, our vibrant colors around town, murals, artwork, and railroad, were all in the minds of Arnett Muldrow as they pieced together what has now become the town brand. Afterwards, visitors socialized in the Masonic Underground, enjoyed refreshments, and were treated with special event pricing of the hats, hoodies, stickers, tumblers, etc.
The Alleghany Journal was on the scene to record the entirety of the brand unveiling ceremony and will post videos soon on our Facebook page. | | Chuck Unroe, sporting a newly-branded Clifton Forge hat, offered a few closing remarks before visitors ventured downstairs for cake, punch, and a bit of socializing.
