February 7, 2026     Lieutenant Smith checked on a suspicious individual walking in the road on Sam Snead Hwy.

February 7, 2026     Deputy Harlow and Deputy Plecker checked on a vehicle partially in the roadway near the intersection of Sam Snead Hwy. and Charger Ln. Deputy Harlow arrested Tracy Roberts for driving under the influence and refusal to have sample of breath taken to determine alcohol content of blood. Deputy Harlow transported Roberts to Alleghany Regional Jail.

Bath County Sheriff’s Office emergency communications officers answered 263 incoming calls and made 52 outbound calls.
