Saturday, January 24, 2025     Deputy Harlow and Deputy Miller arrested Lisa Martin Thornton on a capias from Rockbridge County for probation violation for possession of schedule I or II drugs, and false identify to law enforcement and a capias from Augusta County for fail to appear. Deputy Miller transported Thornton to Alleghany Regional Jail. Saturday, January 24, 2026     Deputy Miller responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Sam Snead Highway near the intersection of Rose Lane. Bath County Sheriff’s Office emergency communications officers answered 291 incoming calls and made 104 outbound calls during this time period.
