New Year's in the Forge By Ashley Prior Staff Writer   Clifton Forge, VA (Dec. 31, 2025) – The Journal joined in the New Year’s celebration with the Town of Clifton. We were able to capture many smiling faces and festive cheer. There was a surplus of food from Jacks Masons Tavern, Family TreeTs, and Blow N Smoke BBQ. Lyriks Café had hot chocolate, and Livy’s Closet was serving Hot Apple Cider. These photos will soon be available on the Alleghany Journal Facebook page.
