Weapons, Cash, Drugs Found at 577 Roxbury St., Clifton Forge   Clifton Forge, VA (Dec. 12, 2025) - The following is a news release from the Alleghany County/Covington Sheriff's Office: "On December 11, 2025 at approximately 8:15 p.m. deputies from the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team along with members of the Alleghany Highlands Drug Task Force served a search warrant at the residence of 577 Roxbury St., Clifton Forge, VA 24422. "Items seized consisted of Methamphetamines, Marijuana in excess of the legal amount, ammunition, weapons and cash. "This investigation continues by the Drug Task Force. "The Alleghany Highlands Drug Task Force consists of members of the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office, Covington Police Department, Bath County Sheriff’s Office, Craig County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police.
