Planning Commission Meets to Discuss Potential Improvements for Clifton Forge By Jennifer Bailey Staff Writer   Clifton Forge, VA (Dec. 11, 2025)— On Tuesday evening, December 9th, the Clifton Forge Planning Commission met with Clifton Forge Town Council and the Roanoke Valley-Alleghany Regional Commission around 4:00 p.m. at the Clifton Forge Fire House. The purpose of the more than two-hour-long meeting was to discuss ideas on how to improve the town of Clifton Forge. Among the topics were five main goals: community infrastructure, quality of life, business attraction and retention, downtown investments, and strong governance. All participating members were asked to bounce ideas around surrounding these five main goals to improve the overall quality of life, thus making Clifton Forge a better place to live for everyone.
