'Hometown Halloween' Draws Thousands of Locals on Main Street

Covington, VA (Oct. 24, 2025)— It was, as they say, a full house on Main Street in Covington this evening as a couple thousand children and adults lined the street for trick-or-treating. The Journal was on-site to capture all the action that took place from 5:00 p.m.—7:00 p.m. this evening. As it happens, despite the heavy foot traffic, we were still able to find Waldo. | | | |
