54th Annual Fall Festival Underway in Downtown Clifton Forge

Clifton Forge, Va (Oct. 17, 2025)— It was a perfect, cloudless blue day in Clifton Forge this afternoon when the Kazim Shriners officially kicked off the 54th Annual Fall Festival downtown. A brief presentation was held first in the Historic Masonic Ampitheatre at noon, featuring speakers like Clifton Forge Mayor Jeff Irvine, Sheriff Kyle Moore, and Fall Festival chairman Mickey Bowyer.

Afterwards, things were underway! As usual, portions of Ridgeway Street and Commercial Avenue have been shut down to allow plenty of space for local vendors and foot traffic. The Shriner-mobile —as this writer likes to call it— was set up in its habitual spot and the sweet aroma from their very popular donuts wafted as far down as Jack Mason's Tavern.

The Fall Festival will be ongoing for the remainder of the weekend. Saturday's hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday's hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
