Hot Springs, VA (Oct. 10, 2025)— The Bath County Chargers lost their secomd game of the season following their matchup against the Pendleton County Wildcats on Friday night. It was the Homecoming football game for the Chargers who, up until tonight, had a commendable 3-1 record. At the end of the night, they had moved to 3-2, having fallen to the Wildcats 33-12.

After a scoreless first quarter, Ethan Bryant put points on the board with a touchdown early in the second. It was the first score of the game and, sadly, the only time the Chargers would enjoy the lead over their tough competition.

The Wildcats seemed unstoppable, putting points on the board left and right as the Chargers' defense remained unable to get the upper hand. In the end, the Wildcats proved they were a force to be reckoned with when they defeated the Chargers 33-12.
The Pendleton County Wildcats' cheerleaders paused for a photo op during tonight's game.
