Covington, VA (Sept. 9, 2025) - The long, dedicated community service of the late Lance Carson, most recently as the city's mayor, was remember with a pleasant ceremony at city hall.
Lance's wife, Kathy, was presented with a resolution of appreciation by Covington City Manager Allen Dressler, after he told the audience a story of years of dedication and commitment to the goals of the city that exemplified Carson's attitude.
Kathy Carson, a few years ago, worked with Dressler in the Parks and Recreation Dept. prior to her service with local attorney Bill Wilson.
