'Fridays in the Forge' Draws Large Crowd
| By Jennifer Bailey Staff Writer | Clifton Forge, VA (Aug. 29, 2025)— This year's "Fridays in the Forge" series is nearing its conclusion, with just one more on the horizon set for September 27th.
For tonight's three-hour-long event, a large crowd came out to listen to the tunes of "The Grass Roots Union," a lively bluegrass band, enjoy a few drinks and nibbles from "Jack Mason's Tavern," grab some famous Shriners donuts, send their kids to the bouncy house, enjoy a mini car show courtesy of the Alleghany Cruisers, and do a little shopping from local vendors.
The Journal was on site to capture several photos and video, both of which will be available soon on our Facebook page. | | | |
