 | On May 12, Jeter-Watson Elementary celebrated its 5th graders for completing the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program. The ceremony emphasized the importance of students making wise, responsible choices and showcased the strong community support and collaborative partnerships that strengthen Alleghany Highlands Public Schools. Covington Police Chief Christopher Smith served as the keynote speaker. The Covington Division of Police has been a longtime advocate of teaching D.A.R.E. to students.
