MGCC Honors Nursing Graduates During Pinning Ceremony 34 Graduates Complete The Program   Clifton Forge, VA (May 7, 2025) - Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) honored the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of its Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) graduates during a heartfelt pinning ceremony held Wednesday, May 7, at the MGCC Convocation Center. The event coincided with National Nurses Day, making the ceremony all the more meaningful as 34 graduates were recognized for successfully completing MGCC’s rigorous nursing program. The traditional pinning ceremony represents the symbolic transition from student to professional nurse and serves as a tribute to the compassion, knowledge, and resilience required in the field of nursing. MGCC President Dr. John Rainone welcomed the Class of 2025 with pride and inspiring words of encouragement. “You have met rigorous academic and clinical challenges with determination, compassion, and grace,” said Dr. Rainone. “Your journey has not been easy, but you’ve emerged stronger, wiser, and ready to serve.
