Burnette Sets Book Signing Event At AHRL, Oct. 12th

| Covington, VA (Oct. 3, 2024) - Local author Sarah Burnette will hold a signing and book talk for her book, “The Warrior & Armor Bearer”, at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library. The event will take place on Saturday, October 12th at 11:00 am in the upstairs Community Room.
The book chronicles the last chance opportunity for a “warrior” father and his only child “armor bearer” to find forgiveness, healing and a true relationship in the unlikely confines of a room with chairs of institution blue, AKA the Chemo Room. It is a raw and unedited account of some of life’s greatest lessons as learned through the eyes of both the living and the dying.
Burnette, a Clifton Forge native, is a wife, mother of five children, and nana of nine grandchildren. She is employed as a Deputy Commissioner of Revenue in Alleghany County. Burnette describes herself as a red-headed, Jesus loving, crazy cat lady who is addicted to coffee. Copies of “The Warrior & Armor Bearer” will be available for purchase the day of the event for $20 each or 2 for $35. For more information about this author visit or other AHRL programs, call the library at (540) 962-3321. The Alleghany Highlands Regional Library is located at 406 W. Riverside Street in Covington. | | | |
