1st Year MGCC Student Earns CCST Networking Certification

 
Clifton Forge, VA (May 13, 2024) - Mountain Gateway Community College proudly announces the achievement of J.P. Brewster, a dedicated first-year student enrolled in the Information Systems Technology program, in attaining the Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking certification.

J.P.’s accomplishment in obtaining the CCST Networking certification underscores his proficiency and expertise in networking principles and practices. This certification validates his comprehensive understanding of network functionality, including devices, media, and protocols critical for seamless communication within networks. By earning this industry-recognized certification, J.P. showcases his preparedness to make valuable contributions to networking.

The CCST Networking certification marks an essential milestone toward the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, highlighting J.P.'s commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. This achievement not only celebrates J.P.’s success but also reflects the exceptional standard of education and training provided by Mountain Gateway Community College's Information Systems Technology program.

Eligible students – high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors – will earn industry-recognized certifications, like the CCST Networking Certification, setting them on the fast track to their careers.
