Brown Wins CISCO Certified Support Technician Certification

 
Clifton Forge, VA (May 7, 2024) - Mountain Gateway Community College congratulates Evan Brown, a dedicated student in the Information Systems Technology program, for earning the prestigious Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking certification.

The CCST Networking certification is a testament to Evan's exceptional skills and knowledge of networking concepts and topics. It validates his foundational understanding of how networks operate, encompassing devices, media, and protocols crucial for network communications. By earning this industry-level certification, Evan has demonstrated his readiness to contribute effectively in the field of networking.

Evan's accomplishment marks an important milestone in his academic journey at Mountain Gateway Community College. In addition to earning the CCST Networking certification, Evan has also successfully obtained his Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree in Information Systems Technology, as well as a Certificate in Microcomputer Operations, and three Career Studies Certificates: Cybersecurity & Networking Foundations, Cybersecurity & Networking Intermediate, and Networking Technologies. These achievements underscore Evan's dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in his field of study.

The CCST Networking certification serves as a crucial first step towards the highly respected Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Evan's attainment of this certification not only highlights his achievements but also reflects the outstanding quality of education and training offered by Mountain Gateway Community College's Information Systems Technology program.
