Mountain Toppers Holds First Session At AHRL   Low Moor, VA (April 22, 2024) - The Mountain Toppers, a healthy aging initiative aimed at empowering seniors to live every day to the fullest, held its first meeting last Thursday, April 18, in the W.N. “John” Rice Community Room at the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library in Covington with approximately 35 participants in attendance. Lunch was provided by The Bistro at Bath Community Hospital. The group meets every third Thursday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the library with the next meeting scheduled for May 16. Mountain Toppers is a collaboration between the Alleghany Highlands YMCA Healthy Highlands Program, ConnectionsPlus Healthcare & Hospice and the Alleghany Highlands Regional Library.
