Jessica Perkins Joins Bath Community Physicians Group

Hot Springs, VA (Dec. 11, 2023) - Bath Community Physicians Group welcomes Jessica Perkins, FNP to their team. Perkins brings with her over 20 years of experience in the medical field, including a Master of Science in Nursing with a post-master certification as a family nurse practitioner from South University in Savannah, GA. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Keiser University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and an Associate’s in Applied Science RN from Mountain Gateway Community College (formerly Dabney S. Lancaster).
Perkins has worked primarily in acute care for the Lewis Gale system and has also served as a preceptor to new nurses and as the chair of the nursing research council. She has experience working as a nursing clinical instructor for Mountain Gateway Community College and as a department head managing a medical-surgical/pediatric floor. Additionally, she has worked as a hospital clinical supervisor managing all clinical aspects throughout the hospital and in management positions in long-term, skilled, and post-acute care.
After earning her master's degree and FNP certification, Perkins gained extensive experience in various healthcare settings, including post-acute care, rehab, urgent care, and family practice. Â
