Becky Bostic Perkins Named 2023 Alleghany Highlands Christmas Mother   Covington, VA (Sept. 27, 2023) - Becky Bostic Perkins has been announced as the 75th Christmas Mother serving the Alleghany Highlands. Past Christmas Mothers celebrated the announcement at a luncheon Wednesday at the Discovery Center in Covington. Becky was the owner of Kut'n Up Salon until her retirement. She and her husband Wayne have one son, Ben, who resides in Clifton Forge with his family. She is the daughter of the late Sara and Elwood Bostic. She attends Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church. The 2023 theme chosen by the Christmas Mother is "God Bless Them, Everyone" and her scripture is Acts 20:35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work, we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said, "It is more blessed to give than receive." Applications will be taken in person in Clifton Forge and Covington the week of October 16th, and the Christmas Mother Shop will open November 27th at Christ United Methodist Church 200 E.
