Third Annual Summer Music Series at the Masonic Amphitheatre   Clifton Forge, VA (May 28, 2023) - The Historic Masonic Theatre announces its third annual Summer Music Series to begin Friday, June 16, and run through Friday, August 18, and featuring all local bands. All bands will begin playing at 7:00 pm and Season Passes are available for purchase. Johnny King & Friends will lead off on Friday, June 16 at 7:00 pm with straight up blues under the stars. Johnny King & Friends, also known as the Alleghany Highlands Blues Society, will perform original music in addition to covers of all musical genres of songs. Johnny King is a guitar virtuoso and captivating soul singer who has been professionally performing nationwide for over twenty years. He has spent a lifetime mastering his craft of performing live entertainment and is one of the hottest up-and-coming stars of the entertainment industry. Gentlemen South performs on Friday, July 7. The Peery Brothers duo combines smooth harmonies as only family can. On Friday, July 14, Old School takes the stage. From Elvis to Led Zeppelin, Old School will rock the Amphitheatre with a twist. On Friday, August 11, Alibi brings their brand of special music to the Summer Music Series. Alibi was formed in January of 2023 but you will recognize all the familiar faces! Rounding out the Masonic Amphitheatre Summer Music Series on Friday, August 18 is the popular Covington-based band, Fender Benders. Acoustic rock, blues, southern rock and country, Fender Benders plays them all.
