Covington Summer Kickoff This Saturday!   Covington, VA (May 22, 2023) - Nothing sweeter than summertime, cars, great food, kid’s activities and American Honey. It’s all happening this Saturday at the RiverRock Amphitheatre located at the Jackson River Sport Complex. The events kick off at 10:00 am with a car show hosted by Kars Unlimited to honor our Veterans. We will have children activities from 3 to 7, music gets underway at 3:30 pm with the band One Take followed by American Honey from 6:30 to 9:30pm. Food and beverages will be available throughout the day from JKK Concessions, Shriner’s (donuts), Puff’s Barbecue and Flurries.      The band One Take is from Central Virginia will get the summer concert series underway and rocking at 3:30. They will provide the audience with a variety of rock, party and funk music. Hope you can take a break and join us! Keeping the park rockin at 6:30 from Roanoke is the band American Honey. This is a newly formed band but the members are no strangers to music they have over 30 years of combined experience. They will be performing pop and rock music until the 9:30 hour. This is a free and public event hosted by the City of Covington in conjunction with the Kars Unlimited. WE HOPE YOU CAN JOIN US!
