Alleghany Highlands Football Youth Camp Held   Valley Ridge, VA (July 5-7_2022) - The first-ever Alleghany Highlands Football Youth Camp was held July 5-7, 2022, at Mountaineer Field. Alleghany High School Coach Will Fields and varsity football players from AHS and CHS joined coaches affiliated with the Alleghany County and Covington Recreation Departments in conducting the camp. It was the first joint athletic endeavor for future Alleghany High School Cougars. Approximately 60-70 campers participated during each of the three nights. Sponsors were the Mountaineer Athletic Club and Alleghany County Parks and Recreation.
