 | Covington, VA (May 24, 2021) - On May 24, 2021, a dedication ceremony was conducted in the Alleghany County Circuit Court Clerk's office during which time Fletcher D. Watson was recognized by having the Records Room named after him.
Alleghany County Circuit Court Clerk, Debra Byer, presented the resolution adopted by the Alleghany County Board of Supervisors on March 2, 2021 honoring Fletcher D. Watson for his legal service to this community for over 60 years. Those in attendance (from left) included Debra Byer, Linda Carpenter, Carole Huffman, Drew Watson and his partner, Susan.
