 | Covington, VA (March 30, 2021) - The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism celebrated the 5-year work anniversaries of two of its employees this week. Angie Moncrief (right), has worked for the Chamber since November 2015 and is the smiling face that greets you when you arrive at the Visitor Center. Angie has mailed out over 27,000 envelopes of information to people interested in visiting the Alleghany Highlands, greeted over 13,000 guests and shared over 2,500 relocation packets in her time with the Chamber. Pam Warren (left), has worked for the Chamber since January 2016 as the Office Manager. Pam has processed more than $325,000 in membership renewals, over $1,700,000 in invoices, and over $1,175,000 in grant reimbursement requests over the last 5 years. “Thank you Angie & Pam for all that you do for the Chamber & our community,” said Chamber Executive Director, Teresa Hammond.
