Gibson, Fridley Promoted By Sheriff's Department

Covington, VA (June 8, 2020) - Effective Monday June 1, 1st Lieutenant Casey Gibson has been promoted to Captain over the Patrol Division and will be in charge of the scheduling and day to day operations, along with continuing as ERT Commander.
2nd Lieutenant Richard Fridley has been promoted to the rank of 1st Lieutenant and will be responsible for patrol officer’s training and certification, working alongside the Captain. 1st Lieutenant Fridley will also assume scheduling duties in the absence of the Captain.
